Membership

The Easton Municipal Band is committed to the community band concept, providing an opportunity for community musicians of all ages and all levels of experience to make music and improve their skills in a supportive and non-threatening atmosphere. The EMB welcomes anyone who can read music and can play a band instrument. There are no auditions or waiting lists. Rehearsals are held Monday nights from 7:15 to 9:00 at Twin Rivers Music, 1005 Palmer Street (corner of 18th and Butler Streets), Easton.

Each band member receives a per performance stipend. Yet most members say their greatest reward is the opportunity to associate with other band members and to perform interesting and challenging programs for the community -- most of us do it for the pure fun of it!

In order to maintain full concert band instrumentation, the EMB is constantly searching for new talent. If you would like to toot your horn or bang your drum with the EMB, contact the band by Email (embdirector@yahoo.com), call Keith Wagner at (610) 863-1215, or talk to any EMB member.
